Match Predict – PuckChamp to win

The bookmakers could not pick a favorite in this confrontation. Indeed, both teams show an unstable game and stay at about the same level, so it is difficult to say which of them is stronger at the moment. However, PuckChamp has a slight advantage in face-to-face matches with Nemiga, and if they show the same game as in the match with X3, they can claim victory.

Preliminary review and match prediction for Nemiga Gaming vs PuckChamp

Nemiga Gaming:

Nemiga Gaming hasn’t played an official match in a long time. The regional qualifiers for The International were the team’s first tournament in a month. Before that, the team tried to break into the central part of ESL One Malaysia 2022 but failed to cope with Natus Vincere in the closed qualifications, losing to them 0-2. In the first qualification match for TI, Nemiga Gaming outplayed Pari Parni. The team won confidently, but it is worth noting the level of resistance. Pari Parni looked like one of the weakest teams of the qualifiers, so do not attach too much importance to this victory.

Nemiga Gaming looks good against the tier-2 CIS region, but PuckChamp now looks stronger in terms of the squad. And the arrival of Lil has clearly strengthened the team. Therefore, Nemiga Gaming will be very difficult to pass to the next round.

PuckChamp:

PuckChamp also had a long rest before qualifying for The International. The last tournament for the team was Dota Pro Circuit 2021/22 (second division). There, the team failed to place in the top 2 and advanced to the first division, finishing in third place. The result is not the best, but now Lil and Crystallize have joined the lineup. On paper, such a change looks like a strengthening.

Nevertheless, the team’s core is not able to show its full potential yet. At the moment Crystallize is the weakest link. Lil, on the other hand, plays very well and you can feel his impact in every move. If PuckChamp lost to Mind Games in the first game of qualifiers for The International, where the Curry had a terrible game, dying 14 times in two maps (one of the games he played on Weaver with BKB and Linken’s Sphere), then in the second game PuckChamp was able to win. But even there Crystallize didn’t play his best, finishing one of the maps with a 0-2-8 stat. If the team’s curry adds up, PuckChamp can expect to win.
