Game four made headlines for all the wrong reasons as another injury was the main news and it concerned the Bucks. Giannis Antetokounmpo got injured badly as he was landing after a rebound and he hurt his knee. This was easily the Hawks best game of the series and probably of the playoffs as coach Nate McMillan’s team overcame Trae Young’s absence from the game and delivered a lesson in group basketball as they passed the ball around and looked for easy shots and took advantage of Giannis’s injury exit in the perfect way.

63% was the Hawks percentage from mid-range. Trae Young’s substitute Lou Williams was inserted and he didn’t disappoint his coach with a great performance scoring 21 points accompanied by eight assists and five rebounds. The same kind of performance is needed in game five though especially from the bench players who had a 35 point contribution.

This series couldn’t have a more dramatic turnaround than it did in game four. It is not known yet until the time od writing this article whether Giannis and Young will play in game five. One thing is for sure though, the Hawks looked a much better side without those two playing.

With so much at stake, we think both teams will focus on strengthening their defense. The Bucks need adjustments if Giannis is not going to play. The Hawks seemed very comfortable without Trae young and that can’t happen in Milwaukee from the Bucks’ point of view.
