Excitement galore at Old Trafford
The last game of the midweek fixture list saw United come out as 3-2 winners over Arsenal. United came from behind to win the game with Emile Smith Rowe’s opener a talking point as he netted with goalkeeper David De Gea injured on the ground.
However, United equalised on the stroke of half time as Bruno Fernandes scored his first Premier League goal since September, before Cristiano Ronaldo went on to score a brace including the winning goal.
Ralf Rangnick observed the action from the crowd and with his work permit granted will take charge of his first game against Palace.

Two straight losses for Palace
After Tuesday’s loss away to Leeds, Crystal Palace have now lost two straight. Palace were unlucky not to take the lead through Christian Benteke in the second half, but this was their only shot on target as they struggled to create anything of note.
Palace were also beaten in the possession battle for the first time in four games and will need to correct this if they are to get anything out of their trip to Manchester.
Palace are sitting comfortably in mid-table and boss Patrick Vieira will relish the chance to visit Old Trafford, the scene of many battles between him and United legend Roy Keane.
Manchester United vs Crystal Palace predictions
Just like in United’s last match against Arsenal we can see a goal feast in this one also. However, it is worth noting that both United and Palace so far have done the majority of their goal scoring in the second half.
We predict that both teams will score in the second half.
Man United games normally have goals (3.43 goals per game), over 2.5 goals comes in 57% of the time. This combined with the high output of goals in Palace away matches means we predict over 2.5 goals to come in.
