Manchester United – Chelsea. Gabriele Marcotti’s prediction
United are obviously a mess. And as I write this, it’s not even 100 percent clear whether it will be Louis Van Gaal or Ryan Giggs on the bench Monday night at Old Trafford. But it seems pretty obvious that after losing four games in a row and not winning since Nov 21, we’re close to some kind of resolution. I think the atmosphere is so stale that a change – any change – will be welcomed. That’s why there’s some value in the home team here. Chelsea are coming off a 2-2 home draw with Watford in which they didn’t play badly (and missed a penalty). Still, I’d expect an emotional night and a performance from United. The draw and a United win is at 6.00 and that seems like a good deal.
