Manchester City – Hull. Gabriele Marcotti’s prediction

19:45/Dec 01 '15

The ESPN journalist and Bookmaker Ratings pundit Gabriele Marcotti is giving his prediction on a Tuesday’s League Cup game between Manchester City and Hull City.

Very short odds on Manhcester City, who’ll almost certainly be without Sergio Aguero. There’s no question that Hull are prioritizing promotion – they’re in the playoff spots in the Championship – and manager Steve Bruce has said he’ll make plenty of changes.  All this points to Manchester City and the numbers reflect that, so you need to get a bit creative to find value. Taking the overs 2.5 goals at 1.53 seems pretty reasonable to me (Ladbrokes).  And if you want to get a little more exotic, Kelechi Iheanacho as first goalscorer and City to win 3-1 can be had at 26.00 with Ladbrokes.
