Malaga – Barcelona. Konstantin Genich’s prediction
Barcelona defeated Athletic Bilbao in Copa del Rey with one beautiful goal and one accidental. It seems that Barcelona can defeat every team even without it’s famous Latin American trio.
It’s hard to play away with Malaga. We remember last season when Barcelona couldn’t score against Malaga at La Rosaleda and at Camp Nou. This year the Catalan side was struggling against Javi Gracia’s team and won only with one goal by Vermaelen. That’s why Barcelona will not feel comfortable in Malaga even with Messi and Suarez. So I don’t expect a lot of goals in this game. Malaga have not conceded many goals this season at all. They surely can defend even against Barcelona. It will be not an easy task to score when Kameni is in goal.
I suggest to go for under 3.5 goals. The odds are not too high (1.60) but we can take it. And one more bet is on highest scoring half – 2nd half. It may be goalless in the first half and Malaga can become tired in the last half. Of course, Barcelona will benefit from opponent’s errors. I see some value in that.
