Lokomotiv Moscow – Sporting Lisbon. Konstantin Genich’s prediction
In previous game between this teams Lokomotiv Moscow made a surprise away win in Lisbon. But I can’t say that Sporting Lisbon were bad. Lokomotiv Moscow just used their chances playing in counterattacks. I have no idea if this can happen today. Sporting Lisbon are now leading the table of the Primeira Liga with no defeats. And they have kicked of Benfica from the Portugal Cup in overtime. They have conceded just one goal in last six games.
Sporting Lisbon will have a tough flight to Moscow. I think they will have to go forward in the second half. They are just third in table, so they will have to take a risk if they want to make it to the play-offs.
So they will try their best in the second half attempting to score. If they score in the first half, they’ll have a chance to double the lead by counterattack in the second. This is more than distinct with taking in account the absence of Vedran Corluca. I bet on Sporting Lisbon score in the second half.
