Levante – Atletico Madrid. Valeri Karpin’s prediction
Atletico Madrid managed to beat Bayern in the two-leg semi-finals. It was a very tense struggle. Diego Simeone knows that Barcelona are unlikely to lose the title, so Atleti will think more about the Champions League final. Moreover, the team could not fully recover after a hard away game.
Levante are leaving the La Liga, but the team has not stopped playing, they didn’t lose the last four home games. Atletico are far from good against Levante on the road. In the last five games Levante won three and two matches ended with a draw.
Therefore, I think it will be a hard game for Atletico at Levante. That’s why I’m backing the home team on +2 handicap.
