Foxes flying high
Despite missing a decent number of players due to various Covid and non-Covid illnesses and injuries, Leicester was still able to field a team that royally dispatched Newcastle 4-0 on Sunday.
Jamie Vardy has scored seven goals in his last seven Premier League matches against Spurs and was rested at the weekend as he was an unused substitute.
James Maddison is also in top form having scored and assisted in his last two home games while contributing three goals and three assists overall in his last four league matches.

Spurs’ Covid crisis
Spurs haven’t played since 5 December as both their Europa League match last week and their Premier League match versus Brighton on Sunday were called off due to a Covid outbreak within Spurs.
While those unaffected will be well rested, there are still a number of top names missing but Spurs will have to cope, and this game presents a chance for some fringe names to impress new boss Conte.
Just like Leicester’s Vardy, Harry Kane also likes playing against his midweek opponents. He has scored 15 Premier League goals against Leicester which is more than against any other side. However, he has not scored in his last seven league games this season.
Leicester City vs Tottenham Hotspur predictions
With both sides suffering from Covid and other unrelated illnesses (in Leicester’s case), this will be an interesting game and an opportunity for some fringe players to impress on both sides.
Spurs have started to score goals under Conte and Leicester have been on impressive goalscoring form themselves. We expect to see over 2.5 goals in this match.
Despite Leicester looking set to have more players missing than Tottenham, Spurs will likely suffer more as players such as Son Heung-Min, Sergio Reguilon and Lucas Moura are missing. Due to this we believe Leicester will take all three points here.
