Krylia Sovetov v Ufa Betting Tip

This fixture between two incredibly conservative sides is hardly one to get you hyped for the upcoming weekend of football but it is still an intriguing match all the same.

Franky Vercauteren’s side did not make the best start to the season with two losses, however, they have turned that around with two very respectable draws against big sides Krasnodar and Lokomotiv Moscow.

This match against Ufa is a big chance for the Wings of the Soviets to finally pick up their first three points of the season.

Ufa are firmly glued to the bottom of the table and are fulfilling most people’s pre-season predictions of being the worst side in the league.

They have sold their best player in Oleksandr Zinchenko this summer and currently look devoid of any creativity. Despite a creditable draw at home to Zenit, other results have not matched up to this and Viktor Goncharenko’s team have lost their other four fixtures.

Another loss on Friday could see them cut adrift even at this early stage of the season if results go against them.

In terms of betting this match is nice and predictable and we can expect a low scoring match with a Krylia win.

As previously mentioned, Ufa look dreadful and I expect the Samara side to carry on their relatively good recent form – probably with a win to nil which you can get at 7/4.

A second bet I would certainly go for is ‘Krylia To Win & Under 2.5 Goals’ at 9/4. Although Vercauteren’s side should win, do not expect a thrashing by any means as they only know how to play one way – conservatively.
