Karen Khachanov is one of three Russian players in the last 16 of the Wimbledon Grand Slam this year, the other two are Rublev and Medvedev. It’s the first time in three years that Khachanov qualified to the fourth round and it comes after some very impressive tennis on grass by the Russian losing just one set in his three matches so far.
Khachanov’s preparation for Wimbledon wasn’t ideal as he lost two of the three matches he played in Halle and Mallorca. The 24-year-old has the best record of his career on grass with a 15-9 win/loss record. He has matched his best record in Wimbledon by reaching the fourth round and will fancy his chances against Korda whom he has never played before.

Karen Khachanov vs Sebastian Korda Prediction
It is unfamiliar territory for both Khachanov and Korda who are playing in the fourth round of Wimbledon for the first time. Both players have a similar style in using their powerful groundstrokes of which they have shot many winners.
Khachanov being the more experienced player, we think he has the advantage over Korda in the crucial points as we may see a close match considering their form in Wimbledon.
This match is expected to be a long one and the bookmakers are backing an over 39.5 games or under 41.5 games with the same odds. Looking at both players’ total games played by match the logical choice would be the under 41.5 games one and we will back that for our prediction.
