Juventus have been eager to win the UEFA Champions League in recent years but have failed to do so since 1996. They bought Cristiano Ronaldo for that reason but still weren’t successful in last season’s campaign as they were eliminated by Lyon in the round of 16.

In the 1st leg, Porto were the better side for some periods in the match and were leading 2-0 until the 82nd minute when Juventus scored that all-important away goal. Porto were very aggressive in their defensive pressure on Juve but the Italians still managed to have 60% possession of the ball.

Coming into this match, they had finished second in their group behind Manchester City winning four matches drawing one and losing one. They are also on a 15 match unbeaten run in the Portuguese Liga Nos.

Porto have demonstrated that they can cause a lot of problems for Juve, especially with their high pressure. If they can keep a clean sheet in Turin as they have done in their last two matches in the Liga Nos, they will achieve the upset of the round.

Juventus have to improve from their first leg match. The Bianconeri were exposed at the back and if it wasn’t for Chiesa’s late goal it would have been a tough mountain to climb.

Juventus are the clear favorites to win this match with the bookies and also to qualify. We believe Porto will give a hard time for the Italians but we predict Juventus to qualify.
