Reigning UCL champions Chelsea suffered their first defeat in ten competitive games last Saturday against Manchester City. Incidentally, the Blues beat the Citizens to claim the Champions League title. Also, they hadn’t lost a match since that win in the final.
Thomas Tuchel’s team started their defense of the UCL title by beating Zenit in their first match. Still, it was a tough match and the Blues had just two shots on target as Lukaku scored their only goal. With just one away defeat in 17 matches the Blues travel to Turin knowing it’s essential to come back with points.
