Juventus – Inter Milan. Tancredi Palmeri’s prediction
The crazy pace of game versus Bayern has drained every drop of energy out of Juventus, but Inter are the best opponent to recover in time. It’s true, it’s still the Derby d’Italia and the most felt rivalry in all the country. But the Nerazzurri are currently afraid of their own shadow: it’s not even about the different quality of football, it’s a deeper issue of confidence, that push Inter to get worried even about Carpi, and Juventus to come back after 2 goals versus Bayern. It was undoubtedly demanding what Juve did, so they won’t be brilliant – actually, they haven’t been in the last month – and Inter will be more focused than usual (it’s not difficult) but as the minutes goes by the Bianconeri’s self-esteem will have an impact. Inter are missing Brozovic, so the midfielder’s will just have to put on pressure, while Juventus has Hernanes replacing Marchisio, and especially Dybala with his usual form against the late uncertainties from Murillo. There isn’t a spot where Inter are really better than the Bianconeri, but Biabiany on right flank could surprise the offensive attitude of Alex Sandro.
