Jo-Wilfried Tsonga v Andy Murray: Anna Chakvetadze’s betting tip
Tomorrow Andy Murray will play Jo-Wilfried Tsong – the marathon man of this torunament who beat John Isner by 19 games to 17 in the final set of their match. Then he got lucky, Richard Gasquet had to retire from Tsonga’s next match due to a back injury.
This should be interesting, for some reason nobody believes in Tsonga and people think he will be beaten with ease. However, I think this can be another long game.
Tsonga has played well in a relaxed yet dedicated manner during this tournament, even at critical moments in the match against John Isner. He has absolutely nothing to lose against Murray. Tsonga will try to use his excellent forehand to get ahead from the very first serve.
Murray will finally face a proper test – he easily worked out how to deal with the young Australian Nick Kyrgios who was far too emotional. Tsonga is a lot more experienced and will start in a more reserved fashion. Therefore I believe more than 35 games will be played in this match.
