Italy
The Italians reached the final after beating Spain in a penalty shoot-out, but this time luck was in their favour. The game was very evenly matched, although, at a number of points throughout the match, the Spaniards looked to be the stronger team.
The Italians have lost a bit of the star-quality that they showed in the first few games, and would benefit from rebuilding their intensity, putting pressure on the English to provoke turnovers. The Italians have a midfield who know how to handle the ball well and keeping possession of the ball could hurt their opponents.
England
The English reached the final after beating the Danes 2-1, the winning goal coming in extra time after a controversial penalty was awarded to Rahim Sterling. This match marked the first goal that the English have conceded in the tournament.
The English continued their impressive defensive play, only conceding their goal thanks to a great free kick. However, it seems that in attack, the English have lost their creativity since the start of the Euros and become complacent
Of the last 11 meetings between the two, the English have won only one of them.

Italy vs England Predictions
This is a match between two teams with a similar playing profile. Both stand out for their strong defensive play, though the English appear slightly better in this regard. In their offensive games, both teams seek to put pressure on their opponents, as they take advantage of their opponents’ turnovers. The Italians seemed a little fatigued at times in the last game, whilst the English appear anything but. In addition, the match is being played at Wembley, which is a very important factor. Overall, we think England will win this match, but it will be tough and it will be close.
