Fulham are one of the Championship’s most in form teams at the moment with no defeats in their last eight games, accumulating 18 points in the process – only one less than the division’s most in form team Huddersfield Town (based on the last eight matches). This puts them just one point outside of the play-off places and they look like the one team that always arrives late to the promotion party with momentum.

The Cottagers are certainly one of the more attacking sides in the division and are the Championship’s second-highest scorers whilst they have also found the back of the net in their last eight matches. However, this means they are very open at the back and they have failed to keep a clean sheet in their last five games.

Slavisa Jokanovic’s team have been brilliant at home in recent times with no defeats in their last six matches at Craven Cottage. They have also scored in every league game on home soil since 24th September 2016, conversely, they have not kept a clean sheet in their last five in west London and conceded in 79% of home matches so far this campaign.

Wolves have had an upturn in form in the last few matches with no defeats in their last three, following a run of six straight losses. This means they have boosted the gap above the relegation zone to four points but need to continue on this upward trajectory to ensure survival.

Paul Lambert’s men have improved dramatically at the back in the last couple of matches with just one goal conceded in that aforementioned run of three without loss. This rather more conservative approach does mean that their goal stats have gone down a bit and they have only scored three goals in their last three. However, results are proving that this is working well.

Curiously, Wolves’ away form has been better than their record at Molinuex with 24 points from 19 games compared to 18 in 17 at home. Furthermore, they are unbeaten in their last two on the road.

Although Wolves have a decent away record, I cannot see anything other than a home win here given Fulham’s fantastic form, particularly at Craven Cottage. It’s hard to see them not scoring goals also, so, therefore, ‘Fulham to Win & Over 1.5 Goals’ is the bet to go for.
