These two sides have an outside chance of making the top six in the Championship this season, however, they will both know that in order for that to continue, they must come out on top here.

Fulham are currently on a great run in the Championship with no defeats in their last four, winning three of them which places them in seventh and just five points off 6th with a game in hand on their challengers.

Slavisa Jokanovic has certainly got his side playing attractive football and was rewarded with a new contract last week. His team are excellent going forward and their record of 56 goals scored is the fourth-best in the Championship. Additionally, they have found the back of the net an incredible 10 times in their last four league games. Unfortunately for them though, they lack a bit of solidity at the back and their record of 39 goals against is the second-worst in the top seven whilst they have also kept just one clean sheet in their last six matches in all competitions.

The Whites have been better on their travels than they have at home. However, that is not to say that they have been poor at home and their haul of 26 points from 16 games at Craven Cottage is very respectable. They have also won their last three league games on home soil.

Preston are currently going very well under the radar with no losses in their last five, boosting them up to 9th in the table and just six points off the play-offs with only 12 games to go.

The Lilywhites have found a nice balance and have been useful in both boxes with 46 scored – more than current play-off place occupiers Huddersfield Town and Sheffield Wednesday – and 41 conceded – fewer than 5th place Reading – in 34 league games.

Simon Grayson’s side have struggled on the road in recent times and have failed to win any of their last four away games, not scoring in three of them. However, they have at least picked up points in three of those recent four games away from Deepdale.

Given these two sides are in good form, it’s easy to envisage both going well. With both sides likely to go for victory, there could quite easily be a few goals on offer – as has often been the case in Fulham matches this season. Craven Cottage has witnessed 53 league goals this season – an average of 3.31 which is higher than any other ground in the Championship. With this in mind, ‘Over 2.5 Goals Total & Both Teams to Score’, at 11/10, stands out as the bet to go for.
