Fenerbahce – Lokomotiv. Editors’ prediction
Fenerbahce are very good at home, winning almost everything at Şükrü Saracoğlu Stadium. Robin van Persie is finally showing that he was a top striker once more (8 goals in the last 8 matches).
Lokomotiv haven’t played a single game for more than 2 months. Their key defender Vedran Corluka is suspended and they sold their only potent striker Oumar Niasse to Everton, getting no one to replace him.
They now have only Petar Skuletic, pretty much not appreciated by the head coach. And it’s hardly surprising: Skuletic has got only 4 goals in 2 seasons in Russian Premier League.
This makes me think that there’s a value in picking Fenerbahce’s win with -1.0 Asian handicap. The odds are pretty decent at 2.2.
