Bookmaker-Ratings expert Emmanuel Adebayor has made his prediction for Friday’s FIFA World Cup Group B match between England and USA.

Gareth Southgate’s side started the World Cup brilliantly, crushing Iran 6:2. At the same time, Harry Kane did not score a goal. I’m surprised about that.

But against the US, defensive action will be important. Iran has shown that no matter what, England’s defensive performance is not flawless: in the last four matches, including the Nations League, they conceded 14 goals. But the USA team have fast and technical football players in their attack.

In this game, I would go for England as the clear favorites, because England have a big chance to win against the USA.

Obviously, you know with Harry Kane, he will do everything possible to score his goal. He has to be on the score sheet and it is important for his confidence and he will need it throughout the tournament.

England vs USA

The US had a tough match against Wales, but just barely survived, leading the score. The confrontation with England is historically fundamental for the US team, so their mood will be outrageous.

Obviously, I think England will win this match but it will be challenging for the Three Lions in what will be a tight game.

I can see England winning 1-0 and I can see my boy Harry Kane get that goal so that is my prediction for this game.
