Chicago Bulls vs New Orleans Pelicans: Prediction and Betting Tips
Possible line-ups for the match:
G – Lonzo Ball; G – Zach LaVine; F – DeMar DeRozan; F – Patrick Williams; C – Nikola Vucevic.
New Orleans Pelicans:
G – Nickeil Alexander-Walker; G – Devonte’ Graham; F – Josh Hart; F – Brandon Ingram; C – Jonas Valanciunas.
Billy Donovan’s team, of course, is stronger now. The Bulls now have a true leader – Lonzo Ball, who helps Zach LaVine; an excellent forward – DeMar DeRozan; and one of the most interesting players in the NBA today, Nikola Vucevic. Chicago’s starting five now looks like one of the strongest in the East.
The Bulls won the match against Detroit Pistons 94-88 and 84 from 94 points came from key players. The Bulls’ rotation is clearly insufficient. It should get easier once Kobe White recovers. Weak squad depth is what will prevent the Chicago Bulls from facing truly serious challenges this season.
New Orleans Pelicans:
Stan Van Gundy, the Pelicans’ head coach last season, is clearly feeling better than his former team now. Van Gundy is back on television and has already started working on new season games. The Pelicans, on the other hand, are clearly in a stalemate. The promising team came into the new league with a weakened squad, inexperienced coach Willie Green with no perspectives for this season.
In their first game of the season, the Pelicans, still without Zion Williamson, were completely defeated by Philadelphia, 97-117. Even Brandon Ingram’s 25 points didn’t help the Pelicans.
Chicago Bulls vs New Orleans Pelicans statistics:
Chicago Bulls have scored at least 120 points in their last six home games against New Orleans. The average score for the 2020-21 season was 110.7. You can bet on individual total points of Chicago Bulls over 113.5.
Bulls players have had 26.8 assists last season on average, Pelicans finished with 26. In the two head-to-head meetings in the regular season, 32 vs. 28.
Chicago Bulls vs New Orleans Pelicans Tips:
Billy Donovan’s squad had a tough game against Detroit (94-88). They scored only 14 points in the first quarter. From the start of the second quarter, however, Lavin stepped up and ended up with a great result: 34+7+4. The Bulls had already beaten the Pelicans in the preseason with 32 assists.
You can bet on the event, that Chicago Bulls players will have more assists, than Pelicans’.
Our second prediction is a Bulls’ win with the odds of 1.39 with the VBet bookmaker.
New Orleans Pelicans were unable to oppose Embiid and Co, which was quite predictable considering the absence of Zayon (97-117). Zayon is still not expected to be in the lineup, so we think that the total points of Pelicans will be less than 107.5 with the odds of 1.81 in William Hill.
Our third prediction is individual total points of Pelicans under 114.5 with the odds of 1.67 with the VBet bookmaker.
