Hammers topple Chelsea
Last Saturday’s early kick-off saw Chelsea lose their first match in nine and subsequently top spot after both Liverpool and Manchester City capitalised on this.
The loss to West Ham in a thrilling match saw Chelsea take two first half leads before the Hammers turned things around in the second half to take the game 3-2 thanks to Arthur Masuaku’s late winner.
Romelu Lukaku was introduced back to the starting line-up in the midweek 3-3 Champions League away draw versus Zenit St Petersburg. Both he and strike partner Timo Werner got on the scoresheet. It remains to be seen whether coach Thomas Tuchel sticks with this tandem against Leeds.

Bamford to the rescue
For the second straight game Leeds scored deep into stoppage time to claim additional points.
This time it was star-striker Patrick Bamford, making his first appearance since mid-September who scored to rescue Leeds from defeat against Brentford.
Bamford, a 68th minute substitute was assisted by defender Luke Ayling who coincidentally had also been injured for the exact amount of time as Bamford.
In three of Leeds’ last seven Premier League matches they’ve scored stoppage time goals, something that Chelsea will need to be wary of.
Chelsea vs Leeds United predictions
On paper this looks like a Chelsea win, however, there are a few factors which make the 1/4 price about a Chelsea win difficult to back and would instead suggest more diverse methods to add betting value.
In three of Chelsea’s last four Premier League matches they have led at the half-hour mark, so we suggest backing Chelsea to lead after 30 minutes.
As mentioned above, Leeds have scored stoppage time goals in their last two matches, Chelsea have conceded late goals in their last two matches including Champions League.
This is something Chelsea will need to be wary of and incase this happens again, rather than back Chelsea at 1/4, we would suggest backing over 2.5 goals instead at 6/10.
