Cornet firing on all cylinders
While New Zealand striker Chris Wood has weighed in with respectable goal tallies in each of his four Premier League seasons with Burnley, new striker, Maxwel Cornet, has got off to a fantastic start netting four goals in his first six matches. Should this tandem start to click into gear we may see the last of boring boring Burnley.
Burnley are currently 18th in the league but have already faced Liverpool, Everton, Arsenal, Leicester, Man City and Chelsea, earning a well-deserved point at Stamford Bridge before the international break.
With a lot of games against some of the elite sides already ticked off Burnley could make it four unbeaten in the league and beyond.

Vieira’s Palace on the rise
There were concerns that Palace dabbling into the international market for a manager would end in disaster much like it did when Palace hired Frank de Boer as Head Coach a few years back. However, such worry is unfounded so far with Palace tenth in the league.
Palace have won their last two matches 2-0 including an away victory against Man City, while drawing the previous four matches. On form Wilfried Zaha has scored the first goal in both of those matches and has been first goalscorer every time he has scored so far in this seasons Premier League matches.
Palace have also had a tough schedule so far, facing Chelsea, Liverpool, Leicester, Arsenal and Man City but have coped better than Burnley and shown more quality.
Burnley vs Crystal Palace predictions
Palace are unbeaten in six with two 2-0 wins in a row against Man City and then Wolves. We believe Palace will show more quality in the final third and carry on their bright run with an away victory here.
Talismanic front man, Zaha, always plays with a chip on his shoulder and something to prove and he seems to be flourishing under Vieira’s guidance. Zaha could make it three games in a row where he opens the scoring. We recommend Zaha to score first in the match.
Burnley vs Crystal Palace team news
Burnley team news
Despite substitute Matej Vydra’s equaliser against Chelsea, Burnley are expected to field the same starting line up for the third Premier League match in a row, Dale Stephens and Aaron Lennon are expected to miss out again this weekend.
Crystal Palace team news
James Tomkins is in line for a starting berth if Dane, Joachim Andersen fails to recover from his injury that forced him to withdraw from international duty.
Palace’s front three is often interchangeable with only Zaha being a certainty to start. Christian Benteke and Odsonne Edouard made the cut last time, but Jordan Ayew and Michael Olise are also in contention.
