Certainly, the pre-season results of Brentford will give them a huge boost ahead of their Premier League opener. But it’s a different story when playing Arsenal in the Premier League itself.
Brentford did play three PL teams over six fixtures in cup competitions and registered three wins. That means that Thomas Franck’s team can be very dangerous and they are not here to make up numbers.
The Gunners on the other hand have one intention this season, to win as much as possible. They have to take the positives of last season which was collecting the most points behind Manchester City since Boxing day.
