The likelihood of goals flowing when Gladbach entertain Koln appears to have been underestimated in the markets. We can back Over 2.5 Goals and Both Teams To Score at 1.85 and that looks more than fair on Saturday.
Since the start of last season, a huge 22 of Gladbach’s 28 home Bundesliga games have featured at least two goals with 17/28 (61%) featuring both teams scoring. Impressively, the same 17/28 (61%) figure returned winning Over 2.5 Goals bets with 13/28 (46%) going on to break the Over 3.5 Goals barrier.
Koln under Peter Stöger’s stewardship aren’t quite as prolific on their travels – unless they’re visiting the league’s leading lights. Ten of the Billy Goat’s previous 13 away days at top-half teams have produced three or more goals and I’m happy to chance my arm at a repeat scenario on Saturday afternoon.
