Borussia Dortmund – Liverpool. Artur Petrosyan’s prediction

It’s beloved Dortmund’s team against beloved Dortmund’s manager. Everybody here has nice memories about Jurgen Klopp, but all Dortmund fans are waiting for a solid win of Borussia. Some think all can be settled in the first leg.

Borussia used to rough up their opponents from the very first minutes under Klopp, but now with Tomas Tuchel they are more pragmatic. And Liverpool have some similarities with Klopp’s Borussia, despite the fact that Klopp hasn’t brought any players to LFC by himself. But with his experience he can make the team play like he wants.

We can see it already: Coutinho is at his peak now, while Adam Lallana shows the best form of his career. Liverpool show their maximum exactly in first halves. That’s why I want to back Liverpool with handicap (0) in the 1st half at 3.35 here.

But after the break Borussia will show themselves exposing all of Liverpool’s issues. And I mean the issues with the goalkeeper and with a defensive line. Jon Flanagan isn’t eligible to play in the Europa League and it’s Alberto Moreno who will face Henrikh Mkhitaryan. The Armenian has had 20 goals and 25 assists this season. With Marco Reus and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang they will torture Liverpool’s defence in the second half.
