Beşiktaş v Napoli Betting Tips
These two sides faced each other just two weeks ago – a match that saw Beşiktaş come out on top (2-3) in what was a thrilling encounter. Now, back in front of their won fans, the Turkish outfit are fancied to once again get a favourable result.
After three matches, Group B is just about as tight as it comes in terms of competition for the top two places. Just two points separate third and first, but Beşiktaş, currently in second position, know that they can put themselves in a commanding position if they come out of this fixture with all three points and, having beaten Napoli in Naples just a fortnight ago, they’ll no doubt fancy their chances.
Ahead of this one their are two worthwhile bets. These are ‘Beşiktaş Draw No Bet’ and ‘Beşiktaş to Score Over 1.5 Goals’ at 17/10 and 19/10 respectively.
With two draws and that win against Napoli last time out, the hosts are currently unbeaten in the Champions League and have proved themselves to be a more than useful outfit. Having conceded four goals in the campaign so far, they also boast the best defensive record in Group B. On top of this, you’d have to go back as far as February this year to see Beşiktaş’ last home defeat – they’ve since gone unbeaten in 14 competitive matches.
Aside from their impressive home record in terms of both winning and remaining unbeaten, the Turkish side also boast a good scoring record. They’ve scored at least once in all three of their Champions League matches so far and have scored two or more in all five of their home league matches this season. League form might not be particularly relevant when it comes to the Champions League, but such a scoring record still bodes well and, by scoring three goals against this very opposition on match-day three, they’ve already shown they can mix it at this level.
Most people would’ve expected Napoli to win the reverse of this fixture and many will probably expect them to take revenge for that defeat by winning here, but, make no mistake about it, this is a tough away trip and the Italians could find themselves playing in a hostile environment, one they might struggle to cope with. Going forward, Napoli are of course a threat; however, on several occasions they’ve looked a bit wayward at the back and this could cost them again here. The visitors have conceded in five of their seven away matches this season, as well as in each of their Champions League matches – conceding at least twice two of those.
Another interesting pointer ahead of this one is the fact that Beşiktaş have had slightly longer to prepare having played on the 28th. They’ve also played a game less in the time since the two teams last met. Napoli played on both the 26th and the 29th – fielding a strong side on both occasions. This busy schedule could catch up with the visiting team and, ultimately, these extra matches could take their toll, especially when we consider the travelling involved here too.
All in all, there’s plenty to like about the hosts ahead of this one and, in both markets selected, they look a tad overpriced. With this in mind, they are definitely worth siding with.

Hi Ali,
The selection ‘Draw No Bet’ means that you’re betting on one team to win, in this case Beşiktaş, but your stake is returned if the match ends as a draw.
