Having secured a valuable win in the first-leg, scoring three away-goals in the process, Besiktas have put themselves in a commanding position ahead of this second-leg and the Turkish outfit are expected to finish the job and advance to the next round in good style.

At odds of 5/4, ‘Besiktas to Win & Over 1.5 Goals’ is the bet that catches the eye here. The hosts are not only strong on their own patch, but they have a two goal advantage which means their opponents can’t really afford to sit back.

Considering they scored three in the away-leg, it’s hard to imagine the hosts not offering a significant attacking threat back on their own patch and, therefore, the visiting side could be in for another tough night. However, the fact that Hapoel got on the score-sheet in Israel is certainly a plus as it means they’re still in with an outside chance, slim though it may be.

With the tie the way it is, you’d have to assume that the visitors will come and have a go. Unfortunately for them, this could simply lead to Besiktas filling their boots on the counter. After all, the hosts do have both the pace and attacking power to exploit such situations.

At the Vodafone Arena this season, Şenol Güneş’s men have been in solid scoring form, finding the net at least twice in eight of their last ten. Be’er Sheva, on the other hand, haven’t exactly shipped numerous goals with great regularity on the road; however, visiting Besiktas is a much more daunting task than almost any away trip they’ve made this season and, with the score-line the way it currently stands, the visitors appear to be in trouble.

Having assembled that commanding lead last Thursday, the hosts acquitted themselves well in the league on Sunday (winning 3-1 at home) and should be full of confidence at this moment in time. Considering the visitors followed up their first-leg defeat with a 0-0 draw, you’d struggle to say the same about them.

Most of the hard work might’ve been done in this tie, but the Turkish club are fancied to well and truly finish the job here and can beat their Israeli opponents for a second time.
