Bayern Munich – Atletico Madrid. Konstantin Genich’s prediction
I said once that Bayern Munich are the favourites here, and a bet on the Germans looks the best choice. I like the style of Atletico, but they just might not be able to withstand the Bavarian onslaught tonight. If Guardiola’s men can play with the same intensity and aggressive style, just as they did in the second half of the first leg, then I think Atletico will struggle to contain the hosts.
Oblak is not Superman. I think that Bayern Munich were quite unlucky in the previous game, and all they need to do is simply find that little bit extra in the final third and some of their chances will surely be converted into goals. The German side may be able to do it, whether that will be in full time or after an additional 30 minutes remains to be seen. But Bayern Munich to qualify looks a good bet, one that, at odds of 2.10, is worth taking.
