These two sides are stuck in mid-table mediocrity and so this match is more of a formality rather than having any relegation or promotion purpose.

Barnet are on a bit of a bad run at the moment and are without a win in their last five matches, putting them 14th in the table.

The Bees have been pretty average in both boxes so far this campaign with just 45 goals scored and 49 conceded in their 36 matches. Additionally, they have also not kept a clean sheet and have found the back of the net a mere five times in those aforementioned five games.

Kevin Nugent’s side are having real problems at home at the moment and have failed to win any of their last six at The Hive Stadium in a run stretching all the way back to mid-January. However, this is not just a recent problem and their points tally of 20 in 18 matches on home soil is one of the worst in the division.

Yeovil were on a similarly bad run until last weekend when they managed to pull off a 3-1 victory away a Morecambe to record their first win in eight in all competitions.

Despite the fact they scored three on Saturday, Darren Way’s men have been woeful in front of goal this season and are League Two’s lowest scorers with an average of just one goal per game. Defensively, Yeovil are not terrible but 45 goals against in 36 league matches is not the most respectable total you will see. Furthermore, they have conceded five goals in their last two games.

As well as having one of the worst offensive records in League Two, the Glovers also have one of the worst away records with just 16 points taken from 17 matches. Their recent win against Morecambe was their first league victory away from Huish Park since 22nd October 2016.

With neither of these sides having nothing in particular to fight for and both being on poor runs at the moment, It’s likely that this will be a less pressurised match and, therefore, we could see a few goals. ‘Over 2.5 Goals & Both Teams to Score’, at 6/4, is worth getting behind and allows flexibility on the result. Additionally, this bet would have won in two of the last three meetings between the two as well as all of the previous meetings at Barnet.
