Andrea Petkovic v Belinda Bencic – Anna Chakvetadze’s Betting Tip
I think people should go for Belinda Bencic in this match. It seems to me that her style of play will be very uncomfortable for Petkovic. Andrea is moving very heavily at the moment whilst Bencic has never been in better form. She missed a lot of tennis through injuries but is now gradually coming back into it.
Belinda Bencic battled to victory against Crawford in the first round but she is still playing well. Bencic beat Petkovic with ease in the Fed Cup earlier on in the season in just two sets. If she is able to draw on this previous victory then there is no reason why she cannot achieve the same outcome here today.
Petkovic rarely wins more than one match in a tournament and she has had all sorts of problems recently, including those of a personal kind, so there’s no guarantee she’s in right frame of mind for this. I think that Belinda Bencic will beat Andrea comfortably in this match and at evens she looks a good bet to do so.
