AC Milan – Carpi. Tancredi Palmeri’s prediction
New manager Brocchi started with both a win and a clean sheet. Many pundits are already writing about the tactical changes, but it is far too soon for that. Hosting Carpi won’t be as easy as it might seem, but the Milanese could have been helped out by what happened yesterday: none of Carpi’s competitors won, leaving them clear from the relegation zone even before playing.
This could take away some of the visitors fighting spirit. Still, it won’t be easy for AC Milan. In fact, in spite of being fourth-from-the-bottom, Carpi rarely lose away games by more than one goal, and haven’t done so since December. So we go with the stats here, and AC Milan to win by a single goal, taking them to tie on a -1 handicap at 3.50.
