UPDATED: A Guide to Wisconsin cities that will rally and march with March For Our Lives on March 24
On March 24, March For Our Lives will take to the streets of Washington DC to demand that their lives and safety become a priority. Demonstrators will call for an end to the epidemic of mass school shootings. Organized worldwide marches will coincide with the march in D.C.
“We cannot allow one more family to wait for a call or text that never comes,” March For Our Lives states on its website. “Our schools are unsafe. Our children and teachers are dying. We must make it our top priority to save these lives.”
March For Our Lives is created by, inspired by and led by students across the country who will no longer stand by and wait for action to be taken against school shootings.
“The mission and focus of March For Our Lives is to demand that a comprehensive and effective bill be immediately brought before Congress to address these gun issues,” March For Our Lives states on its website. “No special interest group, no political agenda is more cirtical than timely passage of legislation to effectively address the gun violence isuses that are rampant in our country.”

A march will be held in Mineral Point at 11 a.m. The march will begin at the water tower. Attendees are encouraged to arrive by 10:45 a.m.
