In memory of Kobe Bryant
On January 26, a year has passed since the death of Lakers legend Kobe Bryant, his 13-year-old daughter Gianni and 7 other people who were on board Bryan’s personal helicopter. They all died at the crash site, including the pilot.
The tragedy took place in Calabasas, California. The exact reasons for the crash are currently unknown, because there were no “black boxes” on board the helicopter. In 2020, Bryant was inducted into the NBA Basketball Hall of Fame.
Bryant played for the Lakers from 1996 to 2016, became the NBA champion five times, won the title of the most valuable player in the final playoff series twice and was named the most valuable basketball player of the regular season.
Los Angeles Lakers forward LeBron James remembered legendary basketball player Kobe Bryant, who tragically died on January 26, 2020.
“We can remember him and wear his jerseys during the preseason and be successful with those jerseys, as you guys have seen. We have a lot of guys who wear his shoes to this day, ”James said.
“There are many things in the world that die, but legends never die, and that’s exactly what he is. So it’s all about representing this.
Lakers striker Anthony Davis admitted that the team is still getting over the death of Bryant.
“On the anniversary of his death, our hearts are saddened by the knowledge that he is gone. I know I still have problems with this, we still just can’t believe it,” Anthony said.
