Gabriel Martinelli sends heartfelt message following Brazil’s World Cup elimination

Croatia defeated Brazil on penalties to reach the semifinals of the World Cup on December 9.

Arsenal’s star Gabriel Martinelli took over his Twitter account to write an emotional post to fans for their unconditional support.

“It’s hard for me to put this into words. I am devastated that our World Cup journey ended this way. To all the fans who supported us, I’d like to say thank you. Hearing you all at the stadiums and watching your videos at home is something I will never forget.” tweeted the 21-year-old.

The forward has reportedly already left Qatar on a separate flight from the rest of the Brazil squad to fly straight to Dubai to join the Gunners squad that are holding a warm-weather training camp in the capital of the United Arab Emirates.
