Liverpool have been linked with Bayern Munich’s Ryan Gravenberch as the club continues to look for midfielders to help revive their season and the Dutch international’s agent has been spotted at Anfield.

Liverpool fans were sent into a frenzy over the weekend as reports emerged that the agent of highly-rated Bayern Munich midfielder Ryan Gravenberch was spotted at Anfield.

The 20-year-old Dutchman has struggled for playing time since moving to the Bundesliga in the summer and has averaged just 30 minutes per match on the pitch.

With the Reds currently 10 points adrift of Manchester United in the race for Champions League football, Gravenberch could provide Jurgen Klopp’s side with the boost it needs.

The rumors started when Rafaela Pimenta, the player’s agent, posted a picture on her Instagram story, which seemed to suggest that she was visiting the home of Liverpool FC. This fueled speculation that a move for the former Ajax player could be in the works.

It’s no secret that Klopp is in dire need of midfield reinforcements, with his number one target Jude Bellingham not available until the summer, and the Reds will face huge competition for the teenager. However, with Liverpool and Bayern Munich having struck up an agreement for the transfer of Sadio Mane in the summer, and Thiago Alcantara previously, it’s clear that the two clubs have a history of dealing with each other.

Though the rumors remain unconfirmed, it is worth noting that Pimenta also represents defender Denzel Dumfries, who plays for Inter Milan and has been extensively linked with a move to Chelsea. Therefore, it’s possible that her presence at the weekend’s game could have more to do with the away side and their potential transfer activity.

In any case, Gravenberch’s potential move to Anfield would be a major boost for Liverpool, as they look to secure a top-four finish and Champions League football next season. It remains to be seen whether there is any truth to the rumors, but one thing is certain, Liverpool fans will be eagerly waiting for any further developments.
