Eduard Mendy has reportedly rejected Chelsea’s first contract offer
Chelsea first-choice goalkeeper Edouard Mendy has reportedly rejected the Blues’ opening offer of a new contract as the club focuses on tying key players down to new contracts.
Mendy, who is now among the club’s lowest earners, is alleged to have already turned down the first offer, according to NizaarKinsella.
Chelsea have opened talks with both Mason Mount and Edouard Mendy over new contracts.
The goalkeeper, who is paid less than Kepa Arrizabalaga, has rejected a first offer.

The 30-year-old goalkeeper was allegedly given lower terms than understudy Kepa Arrizabalaga, who signed a £190,000-a-week contract when he arrived for £71 million in 2018.
