According to reports, Real Madrid is considering making a move for Kai Havertz, the Chelsea attacker, during the summer transfer window.

Reports  are emerging that Real Madrid is considering a move for Chelsea’s talented attacker, Kai Havertz.

The German footballer had previously generated a buzz around his future due to his impressive performance for Bayer Leverkusen, leading to a bidding war among some of the world’s biggest clubs vying for his signature. However, it was Chelsea who ultimately won the race to secure the forward in September of 2020.

But, with Bayern Munich also believed to be showing a keen interest in Havertz, and Real Madrid reportedly joining the pursuit, the young player’s future in London may yet be uncertain. It is understood that Bayern Munich are on the hunt for at least one forward in the upcoming transfer window, while sources indicate that Real Madrid’s interest in the versatile attacker is particularly strong.

Despite his relatively short time with Chelsea, Havertz has made a considerable impact, featuring in 133 matches across all competitions and contributing 32 goals and 15 assists to the team’s cause.

However, this season, he has struggled to live up to expectations, managing only nine goals and one assist in 41 appearances across all competitions, despite featuring prominently for Chelsea as their primary attacking option.
