Alcaraz is ready to play in the Laver Cup
Laver Cup will be held in September at the O2 Arena. The team tournament traditionally brings together teams from Europe and the United States.
In 2022, the 5th tournament will be held. Spaniard Rafael Nadal and Swiss Roger Federer have confirmed their participation. The title-holders will play for the team of Bjorn Borg.
Last year’s European team included six players from the world’s top 10. Carlos Alcaraz is currently ranked 6th.
“Captain Borg wants him to play for their team. We’d like to see him in the tournament, too. I’ve heard he’s positive about the idea, so I’m optimistic,” iNews quoted tournament president Tony Godsick as saying.
