Aston Villa midfielder Douglas Luiz will remain with the team at least until January.
On deadline day, there were rumours that the Brazilian may leave since his contract expires in a year. Aston Villa turned down three different proposals for Luiz from Arsenal on transfer deadline day.
According to reports, the Gunners offered to £25m to get the player, but it was rejected. However, Villa’s problem were finding a replacement at such a late, which made a deal impossible.
