I'm thankful that Rep. Roybal-Allard is questioning the NIH because I don't agree with the government using my tax dollars to experiment on animals when superior technology exists that generates results, which can actually benefit humans.
This waste of animal lives and taxpayer dollars is reprehensible.
Bravo! Nearly half of NIH s budget is wasted on cruel and ineffective experiments on animals. It's time to make better use of taxpayer money and stop tormenting animals, by directing funds into advanced, animal-free, and human relevant research that holds real hope of treatments and cures.
