Everton favourites to sign Wilfried Bony

It is said that Wilfried Bony could soon be on his way out of the Etihad, with Everton reportedly interested in signing the striker.

Current odds suggest a move to Merseyside could very much be on the cards, with Skybet offering odds of 1/2 on Bony moving from the Citizens to Everton. The striker was not included in Pep Guardiola’s Champions League squad and rumours regarding his imminent departure from Manchester City are amplified with each passing day.

Among the other most likely candidates to purchase the 27-year-old striker appear to be Arsenal (3/1), Crystal Palace (14/1), West Ham United (14/1), Besiktas (18/1) and Hull City (22/1). The rate on Bony returning to former club Swansea City is 12/1. However, this option is unlikely as the Swans have already announced the signing of Atletico Madrid striker Borja Baston for £15.5m. The probability on Bony staying at the Etihad is around 11%. You can get 11/1 on Bony staying put with Skybet.

Wilfried Bony moved to Manchester City in January 2015. In 36 Premier League games for the Citizens, the Ivorian has scored a mere six goals and provided just four assists, whilst his average time on the pitch per match is only about 39 minutes. If anyone fancies the Ivorian to be revived at his new club, they can get 40/1 about the striker being the Premier League’s top goalscorer this season.
