Catherine Zeta-Jones has been gardening in lockdown.

The 'Mask of Zorro' star has been enjoying seeing "the fruits of her labour" as she has been working on her garden during her extended time at home due to the coronavirus pandemic.

She said: "I've been doing that quite a bit over the past couple of months. My roses are incredible! It's so nice to get outside and work in the garden and then see the fruits of your labour. We're a close family, so it's been really nice for all of us to be together. We can always find something to do, if it's singing, dancing, cooking - we're never bored. That's for sure."

The 50-year-old actress insists she has "found it much easier to prioritise things" in her life during lockdown.

She added: "I know it sounds cliché, but it's true. I feel better and happier now than I ever have. One of the blessings of age is that things roll off your back much more easily. You don't sweat the small stuff as they say. Also, I've found it much easier to prioritise things in my life and have learned the power of 'no'. If it's not something I really want to do, and it's going to take time away from my friends and family, I say, 'No,' and it's liberating."

Meanwhile, Catherine previously revealed it's been "lovely" having her two children back home during the coronavirus lockdown.

She said of 19-year-old Dylan and 17-year-old Carys: "It was lovely ... first of all, I'm a bit of a homebody anyway. I love my four walls. There's things I can do for hours in my house and I'm very complacent, very happy. But Michael and I were kind of early empty-nesters, because our son Dylan is off at college and our daughter, Carys, goes to school in Europe. So all of a sudden they descended on back into our home and it was just wonderful. It was just breakfast, lunch and dinner all together."
