Bookmakers assess chances of Joe Hart making Everton move

Manchester City goalkeeper Joe Hart started the first match of the Premier League season on the bench. According to the media, Citizens manager Pep Guardiola does not trust the England number one and wants to sign Chilean keeper Claudio Bravo from Barcelona instead. Bookmakers have estimated the chances of Hart moving elsewhere during the current transfer window.

According to Sky Bet, Joe Hart is likely to remain at Manchester City and will fight for the number one spot with Willy Caballero. This is the most likely outcome according to the bookmakers and such a situation is trading at the odds-on price of 9/10.

Elsewhere, many media outlets are reporting that Everton are considering a move for the England shot-stopper. Sky Bet aren’t exactly disagreeing with this notion and consider the possibility an 11/10 shot.

Either staying put in Manchester or making the move to Merseyside with Everton are generally considered the only two realistic options. Although, having said this, prices on alternative destinations have been quoted too. Punters can get 8/1 about a move to Sevilla in Spain, whilst odds on a move to Everton’s rivals Liverpool are 14/1. Finally, the chances of the former Shrewsbury Town keeper moving to Barcelona are rated at 25/1.
